HR 511
While the gutless wonders in the Senate continue playing political games with "non-binding," "symbolic" votes on troop withdrawal and the like, the boys (and of course, Girl) in the the House, led by Sam Johnson of TX, are actually working on a real bill (i.e., a non-symbolic, binding one--HR 511) which pledges:Congress will not cut off or restrict funding for units and members of the Armed Forces that the Commander in Chief has deployed in harm's way in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
I encourage everyone to support and publicize this effort. You can even contact the House at 202-225-3121 or go here to contact your congressman.

Okay. FWIW I sent the following to the "Honorable Jim Marshall" who represents me in the 8th district of GA:
Dear Sir,
I have recently become aware of House bill HR 511, which I fully support and ask you, as my Representative, to support as well. I am sickened by the political games being played in the Senate with "non-binding" and "symbolic" votes re: troop withdrawal. I am thankful that the House is considering a "real" bill that honors our troops and mission; I urge its passage.
Sincerely,
Kevin Rainwater
Marshall ran as one of these "conservative" Democrat types. We shall see.
Kevin;
If the House or a conf. committee puts the "grass roots lobbyist" section back in S1 you might be classified as a "lobbyist" because you call for contacting legislators!

I believe that would be limited to blogs with 500+ readers, so I'm eminently safe from that one!
I have used atleast 500 aliases on your blog, so you are done!
