This bill was bad for many reasons, but fiscally it would have been a complete disaster. In fact, I was so unimpressed with the Senate's lack of examination of the financial ramifications of the bill that I sent a donation to the Heritage Foundation for Robert Rector's early number crunching that warned us all of the trillions we taxpayers would be out as a result of this legislation.
